What to do if someone forces physical relations and blackmails?

A man has been forcing me into physical relations by pretending to marry me. When I tried to report it, he threatened to kill me and my family. He tied a dupatta around my neck and assaulted me. I reported this to the women’s helpline, but no action has been taken so far. Additionally, he has issued a fake Aadhaar card in my name, declaring me as his wife. He has also included my name as a nominee on his bike. When I asked him to marry me, he refused and said he is marrying someone else but still wants to force me into physical relations. What should I do?

This situation involves sexual assault and criminal threats, which are serious offenses. You should file an FIR at the local police station if you haven’t already. Ensure to keep all evidence like messages, threats, and the fake Aadhaar card. You may also approach a women’s rights organization for additional support.
