How to convert and marry under Hindu Marriage Act legally?

Hello, I am from the USA and a Christian by background. I want to marry my fiancé in India under the Hindu Marriage Act. How can I convert to Hinduism while in New Delhi on my next visit? Will I be allowed to marry under the Hindu Marriage Act if I have no documents officially stating my religion, but I believe in Hinduism?

You can legally convert to Hinduism by visiting a recognized Arya Samaj temple in Delhi. They will conduct a simple religious conversion ceremony and provide a certificate. This document will help you register your marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act. Carry ID and passport copies with you. A local lawyer can help with marriage registration.
