How can I take legal action for PF delay?

I worked at a previous company from May 2015 to August 2016. They have not transferred my PF to my current employer. I cannot even initiate a transfer request on the government portal because the old company hasn’t linked my Aadhaar card to the UAN. I’ve been emailing them since March 2023, but they haven’t responded or taken any action. How can I take legal action against them?

You can take action against your previous employer for failing to link your Aadhaar with your UAN and obstructing your EPF transfer, which is your right under the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.You can send a legal notice to your employer.
