Can Hindus marry legally without Arya Samaj same-day ceremony?
Can a Hindu couple have a legal court marriage without an Arya Samaj ceremony on the same day? We want it legally valid internationally. We're currently outside India and want the court marriage done in 1–2 days before our traditional ceremony next year.

Yes, court marriage under the Special Marriage Act is fully legal and globally valid. Arya Samaj is optional. You need to give a 30-day notice, then solemnize the marriage at the registrar's office. If you are abroad, plan the notice through the Indian embassy or apply when you're in India. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
