How can we marry legally without religious conversion in India?

I am working as a nurse in the UK. My boyfriend lives in Kerala. We wish to get legally married, but he is Muslim and I am Christian. We do not want to convert our religions. After registering our marriage, I am planning to apply for a dependent visa for him so we can live together in the UK. He is from Palakkad district and I am from Alappuzha district, but we do not want to get married in either of these districts due to family issues. What steps do we need to take to get legally married?

You can marry under the Special Marriage Act without changing religion. Choose any district where either of you lives for 30 days, give notice at the registrar's office, and marry legally after 30 days. This marriage certificate is valid for applying for a UK dependent visa for your boyfriend. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
