Is court marriage possible without any documents?

I live in Uttar Pradesh and am in a relationship with a girl living in Delhi. Both of us want to marry each other with the consent of our parents and have tried many times to convince them. My parents are ready, but the girl’s parents are mentally and physically abusing and harassing her. They refuse to communicate with me or my parents. Her maternal family is interfering, and even her grandmother has taken away all her documents. She is an adult (21+ years) and has no access to a phone or laptop. We want to marry, but she currently does not have her documents.

Since the woman is an adult, she has the right to choose her life partner. She can seek police protection, file a complaint for abuse and illegal confinement, and request recovery of her documents. A court marriage can be performed without parental consent. If documents are withheld, certified copies can be obtained from authorities. Legal assistance can ensure her safety and facilitate marriage lawfully. For further legal assistance, contact us on our helpline number.
