Dear client, A Nepali spouse can apply for an Aadhaar if they meet the eligibility requirements under the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 and are considered a resident of India. The applicant must provide proof of identity, proof of address, proof of date of birth, and biometric information. Depending on the circumstances, documents may include a valid Nepali passport, marriage certificate, residential proof in India, and other documents accepted by UIDAI. If standard documents are unavailable, UIDAI also permits certain introducer or Head of Family-based enrolment methods. Thank you for contacting us. If you have any further queries, kindly do not hesitate to contact us again. Thank you!

If your wife is a Nepali citizen residing in India and meets UIDAI's residency requirements, she may apply for an Aadhaar card. To get an Aadhaar card for your Nepali wife, she must have stayed in India for at least 182 days in the 12 months immediately preceding the application. Generally, documents such as her Nepali passport, marriage certificate, proof of Indian address, and other identity documents may be required.
