What is the legal way to marry from different religions?
Hello sir, I want to do court marriage. I am Hindu and the girl is Muslim. If I marry in a temple and take protection from High Court, will that be right? Or should I register the temple marriage and then take court protection?

You must marry under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, which allows interfaith marriage without conversion. A temple marriage between different religions is not valid. Register the marriage legally, then approach the High Court for protection if there's a threat from families or society. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
