How can I receive money and avoid interference in plans?

I (co-owner) couldn’t pay some loans and credit cards due to job loss and illness. I am a Christian. My aunt has asked my sister-in-law to sell the house. She is saying that my share of the sales proceeds should either be given to her or put into a joint account. She also mentioned putting me in an ashram or a working men's hostel. I am 33 years old. How can I receive my money and avoid interference in my future plans? I want to buy a flat, but they are unable to close the deal even after one month. I don’t have any money left and want them to sell the house for a lesser amount after averaging all buyers' quotes, but they are not listening to me.

You have the right to receive your share of the sale proceeds without interference. Since you are a co-owner, consult a lawyer to ensure that your share is protected. You can request that the house be sold at a reasonable price and avoid the joint account setup. If needed, approach the court for assistance in the sale.
