How to evict tenant after lease expired in UP?

My property is in Uttar Pradesh. In 2014, I signed a 9-year rent agreement on a ₹100 stamp paper. The lease has now expired, but the tenant is not interested in renewing it at current rates or vacating the premises. What are my quick legal remedies? Please guide me. Thank you.

Serve a legal eviction notice through a lawyer. If the tenant still does not vacate, file an eviction suit in the civil court based on expiry of the lease. Since there’s no renewal, you have a strong case. Also claim damages or market rent for continued illegal possession after agreement expiry.
