What if builder delays villa construction beyond promised timeline?

We purchased a villa in 2014 with a 2-year timeline, but even after 10 years it’s incomplete. The builder is unresponsive. What are our legal rights?

You can file a complaint with RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) for delay and compensation. If RERA is not available, approach consumer court. Keep all documents and communication as evidence. You may also join or create a buyers’ group for collective legal action. Builder’s conduct is a clear case of deficiency. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
