What to do if my plot is wrongly occupied?

I purchased a residential plot in 2001. Now it is occupied by another person who claims ownership. The plot numbers are not clearly marked. How can I resolve this issue?

Since your plot is occupied and plot numbers aren’t marked, first gather all your documents and check official land records. Hire a licensed surveyor to confirm boundaries. Then send a legal notice. If the person doesn’t leave, file a civil suit for possession. The court can order them to vacate if you're the rightful owner. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
