Will name discrepancy causes problems in property sale?

I own a property where my name is mentioned in the sale deed as Neel Mahesh Kamath. Here, Mahesh is my middle name and also my father’s name. However, in my PAN and Aadhaar, my name is written as Neel Kamath, and my father’s name is mentioned as Mahesh Kamath in the PAN. Will this discrepancy cause any issue while selling my property, since only my middle name is missing in the PAN, but my first and last names match correctly?

A small difference like missing a middle name will cause any issues. You can make a simple affidavit stating that “Neel Mahesh Kamath” and “Neel Kamath” are the same person. Attach PAN, Aadhaar, and property papers. This affidavit will clear any doubt at the time of selling your property. For further legal assistance contact us our helpline number.
