Can she legally recover money not transferred to my account?

My girlfriend and I were in a relationship for two years. During this time, we had several monetary transactions. She transferred money via her bank account and GPay, while I only used GPay. My GPay shows a credit of INR 9,94,393 and a debit of INR 4,76,552. Additionally, she transferred INR 5,00,000 to my bank account, totaling INR 9,76,552. Based on this, I don't owe her anything; she has extra money. However, she has four GPay transactions to three different bank accounts, two of which I recognize. Can she legally recover this money from me? Can I deny these transactions since they were not made to my account? I never requested money; she invested because she wanted to earn money. The transactions have no remarks indicating their purpose. The last transaction was in July 2023, and we haven't been in contact since. Now, she is emailing and messaging me, as advised by online sources, before taking legal action.

You can deny the transactions if they were not directly made to your account, but it’s crucial to gather all records as evidence. If there is no clear agreement or contract, legally she may not be able to recover the money from you. However, if the transactions are related to investment, she may have a case for reimbursement.
