What to do if police refuse theft complaint despite admission?

We reported theft of nearly ₹60,000 by two delivery associates working in our company at Duttalur (Nellore police station). The police refused to take action, even though the culprits admitted to the theft. They threatened that they will not support us if we insist on filing a case

Police refusal to register theft despite evidence is illegal. File a complaint with the Superintendent of Police or approach the Magistrate directly for directions to police. You can also file a private complaint if police remain uncooperative. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
