Can I submit evidence later during or after cross-examination?

Is it mandatory for the plaintiff to submit all evidence (such as audio/video recordings, text messages, reports, or witness details) at the time of or immediately after the examination-in-chief? Or can such evidence be submitted later if required — for example, during or after the defendant’s cross-examination based on their deposition? (Civil/Tribunal Case)

All evidence should ideally be submitted at the stage of the examination-in-chief. However, if new evidence arises later (for example, after the defendant’s cross-examination), you can file an application under Order 7 Rule 14, seeking permission from the court to submit additional documents or witness statements at a later stage.
