Is public drinking slip without challan just a warning?

Police caught me yesterday drinking in public near Saket. They took a breath analyzer test and gave me a slip showing 198 mg. It was a drunk driving slip, but they cut off the drunk driving part on the slip. No section was mentioned on it. They took a photo of my Aadhaar card and asked me to sign a "pabandi nama" (restriction letter), then let me go. The calibration date on the slip was valid until 2023. My Aadhaar card has my old address. Is there anything I can do about this, or was it just a warning? I didn’t receive any slip or challan. I’m scared; can someone help?

Since no challan or official notice was given, and the slip has no valid section mentioned, it looks more like a warning. However, the police taking your Aadhaar and a signed “pabandi nama” is serious. Keep a record of everything. Consult a lawyer to confirm your rights and ensure no future legal trouble arises.
