How to submit evidence with objection in family court?

I am filing an objection to an interim application under Section 151 CPC in a family court matter. I want to submit two documents: a shopping bill and an email acknowledgment. Questions: Can I attach these as Annexures A and B with my objection, or is there a separate stage for submitting evidence? Is an affidavit required with the objection, or is the objection alone sufficient under family court rules? Are additional documents or formalities—such as a document list, Section 65B certificate for the email, or a covering index—required? Please explain. Since the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 has replaced the Indian Evidence Act, will it apply to my pending case, and does it affect the process of evidence submission?

Yes, you can attach the documents as Annexures A/B with your objection at this stage. An affidavit is usually required to affirm the facts you are presenting. Attach a document list, and for the email, a Section 65B certificate is advisable. Since your case started before the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, the Indian Evidence Act still applies unless directed otherwise by the court.
