What can I do if court visitation orders aren't followed?

The court granted a visitation order allowing me to see my child for two hours on two days every weekend, but the mother has not complied with the order. I have already filed a contempt of court case, but it has not made any difference. Despite this, the judge continues to give them more chances, and they keep attending sessions. It has been nine months, and even a request for visitation under police protection was dismissed. I am confused about how to ensure that visitation is enforced. Should I file for custody under a Guardian and Wards Petition (GWP)? Also, the child, who is now six years old, is being influenced against me.

You can file a fresh petition to enforce the court’s visitation order. If she still does not follow it, file a contempt case again with proper proof. Also, ask the court for custody if the child is being manipulated. Try requesting police protection again. If nothing works, go to the High Court.
