Will my relative face issues registering for Reproductive and Child Health ID at 18?

Dear Experts, one of my relatives got married at the age of 17 and is now pregnant. She will turn 18 by November 2024. Will there be any issues in registering for the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH ID)? Please advise.

Since your relative got married at 17, it may be considered illegal under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. However, once she turns 18 in November 2024, there should be no legal issues with registering for the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) ID. It's advisable to consult a legal expert to regularize her marriage status and ensure proper documentation. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
