Am I eligible for PwD benefits despite unclear chronic condition listing?

I have a benchmark disability (chronic neurological condition) listed under the RPWD Act, 2016. I applied to a government-affiliated, contract-based postgraduate training program that includes job placement. The advertisement didn’t mention PwD reservation or category-wise breakup but stated reservations would follow GOI rules. I submitted my PwD certificate, got full fee concession, and was selected. I want to know: Since chronic neurological conditions aren’t clearly covered under Section 34 (employment reservation), am I still eligible for PwD benefits in this context? Does fee concession imply recognition of my category? In such unclear cases, am I considered general category? Also, are reservation rules different or more flexible in contract-based jobs? Can I be excluded from PwD benefits despite holding a valid disability certificate?

If your chronic neurological condition is recognized under the RPWD Act and you have a valid disability certificate, you are entitled to PwD benefits. Fee concession usually confirms your category. Reservation rules also apply to contract jobs. If benefits are denied, you can raise a complaint with the authorities or seek legal help to enforce your rights.
