Can I fast-track CWP service case for earlier hearing dates?
The case is related to Punjab recruitment, where 7 diploma holders attempted a recruitment test, whereas only degree holders were eligible. They requested a stay on the basis that they attempted the exam and are on the merit list, even though they were not eligible in terms of educational qualification. A stay was granted by the Punjab and Haryana High Court for only 7 posts before appointment letters were given to 475 candidates. Later, or sooner, they will be dismissed, but I am on the next waiting list. My appointment will be considered after this writ is dismissed, and this is causing me loss due to delayed appointment because of the longer hearing dates. Is it possible to fast-track the CWP service case to get earlier hearing dates?
Since the stay order has been granted for the 7 diploma holders, your case may be delayed. You can request the court to expedite the hearing by filing a petition for fast-tracking your case, but the court will decide if it's feasible. It's advisable to consult with your lawyer for further options, such as requesting a priority hearing or filing an application for urgent consideration to minimize the waiting period for your appointment.
