What rights exist after pressured resignation and workplace harassment?

In April 2026, my Company Director advised me to search for another job and submit my resignation. On 5 May 2026, after repeated reminders from HR, I submitted my resignation with a 90-day notice period. However, after only 23 days, on 28 May 2026, HR visited my cabin and instructed me to hand over my responsibilities as part of the exit process. I requested clarification regarding my full and final settlement before proceeding. At the same time, I received an email from the Vice President directing me to complete the handover to another staff member by the next day as per management’s decision. Following this incident, I took casual leave for two days and did not attend the office. I also posted about the incident on LinkedIn and tagged the company and HR department. The company is now demanding that I remove the post, claiming that it harms the company’s goodwill and violates the terms of my appointment letter. I have also received emails directing me to resume work and complete the handover process. I am feeling mentally distressed and uncomfortable returning to the workplace. What are my legal rights and options in this situation?

If you resigned with a 90-day notice period, the company should generally follow the terms of your employment contract regarding notice, handover, and full-and-final settlement. You should communicate only through written emails and seek clarification regarding your employment status, notice pay, and settlement.
