How can I end a toxic relationship peacefully and legally?

I have been in a relationship for 5 months, but things are not going well now. We fight almost every day, and the relationship has become increasingly toxic. We had consensual sex, but now she is threatening to file a case against me. I don’t want any legal trouble. I work in a corporate job and will soon be flying out of India. I just want a peaceful separation. What can I do to resolve this situation amicably?

If the relationship was consensual, keep all proof of mutual consent (messages, photos, chats). If she threatens legal action, speak to a lawyer and consider filing a preventive police complaint. Stay calm, do not argue, and try to settle things peacefully. Avoid further conflict, especially before you leave the country. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
