How to legally deal with forced resignation?
The company is blaming me for being involved in the recovery process. They stated that under the applicable legal procedure, the company shall not be liable to release any of my dues or pending amounts. I am working as a manager and I am not guilty. The company is also asking for my resignation. What should I do now?
You must ask the company to provide the allegations in writing. They cannot legally withhold your pending dues unless they have proper evidence of wrongdoing. Do not resign under pressure. Send an email to HR stating your innocence and keep all records. If the company still forces you, you can file a complaint with the Labour Commissioner or approach civil court for recovery of dues.
