How to remove duplicate hold after online trading fraud complaint?

Dear Sir/Madam, I was misled by an online stock trading group claiming to offer high profits through a “pull-up stock earnings” scheme. I invested ₹4.5 lakh, transferring the amount to 13 different accounts. Later, I realized it was a fraud. Through the trading app, I managed to withdraw ₹100, ₹1 lakh, and ₹1.5 lakh, believing these were profits. Soon after, my bank account was frozen following a cyber complaint from West Bengal, and ₹1.5 lakh was debited from my account under a court order. Two months later, another ₹1.5 lakh hold was placed on my account for the same transaction (same TNR number), but this time from a complaint filed in Mumbai. I have already paid the ₹1.5 lakh once. This duplicate hold is causing financial and emotional distress. I admit my mistake in trusting the group, but I request guidance on how to resolve this issue and remove the second hold. I am fully cooperating with the authorities and seeking closure.

You should file a cybercrime complaint on cybercrime.gov.in and with your local cyber police. Provide proof of the first deduction and show that the second hold is a duplicate. Also write to your bank’s nodal officer and, if needed, approach the RBI Ombudsman or High Court to get the second hold removed. For further legal assistance contact us our helpline number.
