What steps should I take to get my remaining refund?

Hello, I am a middle-class person working in a private company. I had admitted my daughter to a school in Pune and paid a total of ₹46,300 (fees) + ₹7,000 (books and uniform). Due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the admission. My daughter attended only one day, and I immediately emailed the school requesting cancellation. However, they refunded only ₹4,900. Please advise me on what steps I can take to get the remaining amount back.

You can send a legal notice to the school asking for a proper refund since your daughter only attended one day. If they do not respond, file a complaint in the consumer court for unfair trade practice. Keep all emails, receipts, and payment proof, they will support your case. It is a strong consumer matter.
