Yes, you can do a court marriage in Jaipur, but it cannot be completed on the same day. As per the Special Marriage Act, 1954, a 30-day notice period is required after filing the application at the marriage registrar’s office. You may opt for the Hindu Marriage Act if both partners are Hindus, but registration will still take time.

Under the Special Marriage Act 1954, court marriage in Jaipur requires a 30-day notice period after submitting the application, during which the marriage notice is displayed publicly at the Marriage Registrar's office to invite objections, if any. Once this mandatory notice period is complete and if no valid objections are received, the marriage can be solemnized at the Marriage Registrar's office in the presence of three witnesses, but it cannot be completed on the same day as filing the application.

Sir, if both the partners are of legal age to get married then you may perform court marriage under an appropriate act by visiting marriage registrar office. The required documents are proof of age and residence, passport sized photographs and an affidavit. In Jaipur, you cannot complete a court marriage on the same day due to the 30-day notice period. It is advised to consult an expert lawyer who will assist you with the smooth procedure of court marriage. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
