What happens if bank settlement occurs before court date?

I am currently in discussions with the bank and hope to reach a settlement before the scheduled court date. If the settlement is finalized before the hearing, will my presence in court still be required? Additionally, I would appreciate an estimate of the legal fees and any other expenses I might incur during this process.

If you settle with the bank before the court date, the case may be closed or withdrawn. If it's a civil matter, your appearance may not be needed after settlement. Legal fees depend on your lawyer but usually range from ₹5,000–₹20,000 depending on case type and location. Get a written settlement for safety.
