Can I get refund for faulty new Bajaj bike delays?

I purchased a Bajaj Pulsar N160 in May, and it started having self-start issues early on. I reported the issue to the service center, and they initially said there was nothing to worry about. Later, they blamed the battery, but after 2–3 weeks of delay, they confirmed the battery was fine and diagnosed a faulty one-way part. On December 19, they said the part would arrive in 10–12 days. My bike stopped working completely on December 27. I left the bike at the service center on December 29, and they promised an urgent part order, but even by January 8, there was no update. They now claim Bajaj doesn’t have the part. What can I do now, and can I request a refund from the dealer?

Send a legal notice to the dealer and Bajaj for not resolving the issue. If no action is taken, file a complaint in the consumer court for refund, replacement, or compensation for harassment. Keep all service center records, emails, and call logs as proof. You are entitled to a working product or proper service. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
