Can I request notice copy from magistrate if not served?

My advocate collected notice from magistrate court in DV case. He met a protection officer. The protection officer asked the advocate to serve notice. I was not with my advocate, so I really do not know what exactly happened. My advocate says that he has served notice to the respondent. But the advocate has not shared any proof of serving notice with me. Now his number is not reachable. Suppose the respondent might not have received notice and does not appear in court on the next date then can I request the magistrate court to handover the copy of notice to me? How can I serve notice to the respondent?

Mam, if it is confirmed that notice has not been served or if you need to ensure proper service you can request a court to issue a fresh notice. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
