How to summon witness for trial in private complaint?

Can a legal notice be sent to a witness in a private complaint (CC) case regarding material documentary evidence that is already present in court? If yes, how should it be done and in what manner? The evidence was submitted for framing charges before the witness was examined. Now, during the trial stage, how can we proceed with calling the witness for examination?

Yes, you can call the witness during the trial to prove the documents already submitted in court. You will need to file an application in court requesting a summons for that witness. A simple legal notice can also be sent to inform them, but only a court-issued summons will legally ensure their presence. For further legal assiatnce contact us on our helpline number.
