How to correct wrong advocate name in court order?

The order sheet in my labour court case is incorrect. It still shows my advocate as representing me, even after I submitted his NOC and appeared in person for the last 4 hearings. Some say this may affect my character. I was advised to file a writ and submit an affidavit to correct the record. Is this the correct step?

If the order sheet wrongly shows your old lawyer despite NOC submission, file a written application or affidavit to the court with proof of your personal appearances. You can also file a writ in the High Court requesting correction. This clears your record and avoids future confusion. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
