What legal action can be taken against company for unpaid dues?
My company is listed. Despite multiple follow-ups via email (I have the mail trail), they are not responding or settling my full and final dues. It has been more than 120 days since my last working day.
If the company has not settled your dues even after 120 days, send a formal legal notice. If still unpaid, you can file a complaint with the Labour Commissioner or initiate a case under the Payment of Wages Act or Industrial Disputes Act. Keep all email communications as proof for your claim. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
