What legal action can be taken against forced resignation?

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a very distressing situation I am currently facing in my company, TATA Consultancy Services. I have been associated with TCS for nearly 18 years. Now, due to a layoff declared by the company, I am being forced to resign. I do not want to lose my job and would like to understand my legal options. I am based in East Delhi, Pandav Nagar area, so I also need to know the best lawyers available in this area.

It’s legally unacceptable for anyone to force you to resign. A resignation made under coercion or duress can be challenged legally. Stay calm and gather all evidence including emails, messages, offer letter, employment contract etc. It is advised to consult an expert lawyer who will assist you in sending legal notice. You can also file a case in court if there is no reply of legal notice. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline.
