What legal action can be taken against illegal termination ?
My employer terminated me based on false and baseless allegations of misbehavior and violation of the code of conduct. But I am innocent.
Dear Client, If you are a workman (as mentioned in the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947), the termination can be challenged as illegal dismissal under Sections 25F and 25G, by filing an industrial dispute before the labor commissioner. I hope this answer helps. In case of future queries, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.
If you were wrongly terminated, send a legal notice denying the false charges. You can also file a complaint with the Labour Department. If needed, take the matter to the Labour Court. Collect all proof showing your innocence, it helps a lot in such cases. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
