What legal action can be taken against workplace harassment?

I am currently employed at a reputed company. For the past six months, the Store Head has been subjecting me to continuous mental harassment. Despite enduring this mistreatment silently, I have been compelled to tolerate the situation as I am away from my family home and in need of this job. I have been treated unfairly at multiple flats and store locations, and I possess substantial evidence to support my claims. However, the HR department has refused to consider or address my grievances. I have been personally targeted and harassed over the last six months. Now, I am being transferred to Raipur under the threat of termination. I believe there is a deliberate attempt to force me out of my job through sustained mental harassment. I am currently under severe mental distress due to the actions of the company’s management, to the extent that continuing to live feels more difficult than dying.

You can file a written complaint to HR and higher management. If they ignore it, approach the Labour Commissioner or file a police complaint for mental harassment. You also have the right to take legal action for compensation. Don’t stay silent, there are laws to protect your rights and dignity at work.
