Why was I terminated suddenly without explanation or valid reason?

My employer is a joint venture between the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Maharashtra. I worked the entire day, and by evening, I received an email with my termination letter. I asked for the reason, but they haven’t responded. My performance was good, and I contributed to two bridge inaugurations by Nitin Gadkari Ji. Please advise.
