What further actions can I take after SDM’s rejection?
Respected Sir/Madam, I own agricultural land in Madhya Pradesh for which I applied for demarcation (Simankan). The patwari conducted the demarcation without a field visit, leading us to file an objection and subsequently appeal to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) under Section 129(5) of the Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code (MPLRC). The SDM accepted our appeal and ordered a survey by the SLR team. Following their field visit, the SLR team reported that the naksha (map) was not properly prepared in the patwari's report, stating that it must be corrected before further demarcation can take place. It is important to note that we have already conducted the batankan and corrected the naksha, with official orders confirming this. Despite this, the SDM has rejected our appeal based on the SLR report. What further actions can I take in this matter? If it is necessary to appeal the SDM’s order, what is the procedure for doing so?
