Which documents are sufficient for mutation of property after 10 years?

Hello, Hope you are doing well. Let’s say a GDA MIG flat was allotted to someone, and the first owner did not apply for mutation. The first owner then sells the flat to the second owner, and the sale deed and registration are done. The second owner does not apply for mutation. After 10 years, the second owner sells the flat to the third owner, who now wishes to apply for mutation. Do you think the following documents will be sufficient for mutation? Sale deed (from the first owner to the third owner), Property tax paid challan, ID proof of the third owner, Affidavit on stamp paper, Or is anything else required? Is this a big issue?

For mutation, the required documents typically include the sale deed, property tax receipts, and identity proof of the new owner. Since the flat has changed ownership multiple times, you may need to provide additional documents such as NOC from previous owners. The mutation process may also involve verification from local authorities. Consult a property lawyer for clear guidance on the legal formalities.
