Can I claim profits until all money is returned?
I asked for my money back. He returned ₹3,70,000 in three installments without notice. As per the agreement, I gave formal notice for the remaining ₹1,30,000. It's been six months, and he hasn’t paid the profit or dividends. Can I legally claim profit until my full amount is returned?
Since part of the money was returned and formal notice was given for the rest, you can now file a civil recovery suit. If profits or dividends were promised in writing, you can claim those too. Keep transaction proof, agreement copies, and the notice as evidence. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
