How to resolve IT issues after paying tax demand?

Paid tax as per the demand under the IT scheme, but the file has not been updated and I am still facing issues with the IT department.

If you have paid the IT demand but records are not updated, verify challan details in Form 26AS, respond under “Outstanding Demand,” and file a rectification request or contact your Assessing Officer with proof of payment for correction under Section 154.
