How to deal with false claims of fraud?
I have a credit card with AU Small Finance Bank. I applied for the closure of my credit card on 15.03.2024, and fraud happened on 16.03.2024. At the time of my closure application, the outstanding balance in the credit card account was zero. Now, the bank is pressuring me to clear the fraud transaction balance.
In this situation, the fraud transaction may not be your liability since the closure request was made before the fraud.
