Does the IRDA Gazette rule apply to non-linked policies?

As per the IRDA Gazette notification dated 1st July 2010 regarding linked policies and the amount to be deducted for various years of policy continuance, does the same rule apply to non-linked policies as well?

The IRDA Gazette notification dated 1st July 2010 specifically applies to linked policies. Non-linked policies have different terms, and the same deductions may not apply. You should consult an insurance expert or legal advisor to understand how the rules for linked policies might affect non-linked policies and to clarify any discrepancies in policy terms.
