How to take legal action after losing money in Telegram scam?
With due respect and humble submission, I, want to state that I have fallen into a Telegram channel scam related to Wipro. They used Wipro’s logo, branding, and stamps to loot people. I have lost almost ₹7,66,000 in just 3 days. They are even inviting me to Wipro’s Sarjapur branch (claiming it is their head office) to appear genuine. This is clearly an organized fraud where a group is working together. I have lost all my money, borrowed from others, and even sold my gold. Now they are demanding another ₹4,00,000 tomorrows to allow me to withdraw my money.
This is a clear case of cyber fraud. Immediately lodge a written complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell and local police with all payment details, chats, and documents. Inform Wipro officially about misuse of their name. Do not pay any further money. You can also file a case under IT Act and BNS to recover your money.
