Will court issue arrest warrant if accused ignores summons?
If the accused does not appear in court after receiving the summons, will the court automatically issue an arrest warrant, or does the complainant’s lawyer need to file a separate application for the warrant?

If the accused ignores court summons, the court can issue a bailable or non-bailable warrant. The complainant’s lawyer can request it, but the court may also do it on its own depending on the seriousness. It is best to follow up legally to make sure the case proceeds without delays.
