Can landlord demand extra money to renew rental agreement?
I am staying in Tavarekere, Bangalore, paying ₹10,000 rent and ₹30,000 deposit. Now, my landlord is demanding an extra ₹10,000 to renew the rental agreement, otherwise he is asking me to vacate. What can I do about this?

Landlords cannot arbitrarily demand extra money unless agreed in the contract. Check your rental agreement terms. If there is no clause about this, his demand is unfair.
