What should I do if a false case is filed?

I was getting my passport verified for the first time. The police station called me for verification, and the officer took ₹1000. Verification was completed, but one month later, I received a call from the SP office saying an IPC case (392/19, 304A) was filed against me on 6/11/19 at Kirti Nagar police station in West Delhi. I have never been there. How did this case occur? I don't understand what happened. What should I do? Please help.

You should immediately contact a lawyer and file a complaint with the police about the false case. The police will need to clarify why your name was involved. You can also file a petition in court to challenge the false FIR and request the case to be dismissed, ensuring you are not wrongly implicated.
